HR Assistant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and completeness of employee information.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and HR-related matters.
  • Assist with HR-related projects, including policy development and implementation, employee engagement initiatives, and performance management.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Conduct data entry and prepare reports related to HR metrics.
  • Assist with the administration of employee leave programs.
  • Assist with compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with other HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in an HR role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HR principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
