House Keeping Executives

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Executive to join our Jewellery Group. As a Housekeeping Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and overall hygiene within the store premises. Your role is crucial in creating a pleasant and welcoming environment for our customers and staff.

Responsibilities:

  1. Store Cleaning and Maintenance:
    • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including floors, surfaces, windows, and restrooms.
    • Regularly dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum the store to maintain a clean and inviting appearance.
    • Clean and polish jewellery displays, counters, and glass cabinets to showcase products effectively.
    • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a proper and hygienic manner.
    • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and amenities as needed.
  2. Inventory Management:
    • Assist in inventory management by organizing and maintaining stockrooms or storage areas.
    • Ensure proper storage and labeling of cleaning products and equipment.
    • Monitor stock levels of housekeeping supplies and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
  3. Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.
    • Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
  4. Housekeeping Coordination:
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to coordinate housekeeping activities based on store requirements.
    • Support the preparation and setup for special events or promotional activities.
    • Assist in coordinating and executing store layouts or displays as needed.
  5. Record-Keeping and Reporting:
    • Maintain records of cleaning activities, supply usage, and maintenance requests.
    • Report any maintenance or housekeeping-related issues to the store management.
    • Assist in generating housekeeping-related reports as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
