Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery area and adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Plan and coordinate daily production schedule with Bakery Manager.
- Train and supervise assistant bakers and other bakery staff.
- Test new recipes and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Decorate baked goods and prepare displays for retail sale.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers and respond to customer requests and inquiries.
- Assist with other bakery duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a baker or pastry chef.
- Knowledge of baking principles and practices.
- Ability to prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
