Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
- Ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained according to company standards.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any repair or maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
- Ensure that housekeeping staff have the necessary supplies and equipment to perform their duties.
- Assist with scheduling and payroll for housekeeping staff.
- Train new housekeeping staff on company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with guests and respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
